Water damaged wood flooring was removed down to the original wood slat subfloor.
New red oak strip flooring was installed, using the traditonal top nail installation method.
The floor was then stained and finished with satin oil-based finish.
These stained oak steps did not match the dark stain that we applied on the first floor.
We sanded the treads down to bare wood....
